Mr Taylor has extensive experience in the finance and credit industries, working across both industries for more than 38 years.

Mr Taylor is also an accredited Financial Broker (No. 16714) of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia, is RG146 compliant and is a licensed Real Estate Agent, Qld (No. 3981311).
Mr Taylor is responsible for overseeing the general management of ASCF’s business and of the Funds being issued, including reviewing and determining whether to recommend approval of an application for a loan from ASCF based on the Funds’ lending guidelines.

Filippo SciaccaDirector – Investor Relations, Asset Management and Compliance
Mr Sciacca has worked across the property development industry for over 20 years and has extensive expertise in relation to the property market.
Mr Sciacca has a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology and commenced his career as a property lawyer at Sciaccas Lawyers and Consultants in 1987 before pursuing a career in property development. Mr Sciacca was a director of Kozmic Developments, a property development group between 1997 and 2016, during which time the Kozmic group developed over 400 apartments in and around Brisbane.Read more ↓
As Investor Relations Director Mr Sciacca provides regular ongoing reports to the board and investors in relation to the fund’s performance. As Asset Manager and Compliance Director Mr Sciacca is primarily responsible for reviewing, assessing, and approving all property offered as security for the Funds’ loans to ensure they meet the funds’ security criteria as well as all aspects of compliance for the Funds.

Mr Giovanos has extensive experience in the credit and mortgage industries, having worked across these fields for over 14 years.
Mr Giovanos commenced his career in 2005 as a Sales Manager for home and investment lending for National Fidelity Mortgage, a residential mortgage lender operating in the United States of America before becoming a Branch Manager and Private Client Manager at Bankwest. After three years with Bankwest, Mr Giovanos worked as a Relationship Manager at ANZ specialising in: business banking, commercial lending, franchising, unsecured business lending, low doc commercial loans, and start-up business lending.Read more ↓
In addition to his financial experience, Mr Giovanos holds a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking from the Finance and Related Services Training Academy and is RG146 compliant.
As Director of Business Development, Mr Giovanos is responsible for overseeing the general management of ASCF’s business and the Funds. Peter AubortCompliance Committee Chairman
Mr Aubort has worked across the financial services industry for over 22 years and has extensive expertise in the operation of both registered and unregistered managed investment schemes, having worked for eleven separate Australian financial services (AFS) licensees across his career, all of which have been involved in the establishment and operation of schemes. Mr Aubort has a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from the Queensland University of Technology, a Diploma in Financial Planning 1 from the Financial Planning Association of Australia, and RG146 certificates in securities and managed investment schemes from the Securities Institute of Australia.Read more ↓

Joe BennettSenior Executive – Head of Distribution (Lending)
Mr Bennett has over 25 years experience in the banking and finance industry in Australia across three tier-one financial organisations. Having completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Griffith University in 1993, Mr Bennett began his banking career with CBA and spent 7 years gaining a solid foundation in banking and finance both in operations and as an Assistant Relationship Manager.
Moving to NAB in 2000, he spent the next 9 years as a Business Banking Manager proactively sourcing and fostering Business Banking relationships to provide his clients with fully integrated financial services solutions.
In 2009, Mr Bennett joined ANZ and leveraged his extensive network to grow a portfolio of SME business clients which he managed on behalf of ANZ. During this time, Mr Bennett also became a Registered Franchise Lending Specialist (RFLS) having successfully completed the FRANdata program.
In his role as Senior Relationship Executive, Mr Bennett is responsible for managing and growing the ASCF loan referral network both through ASCF’s panel lender status on the Finsure broker network, one of Australia’s leading mortgage aggregators, and with external brokers.Read less ↑
Molly MichelmoreBusiness Operations Manager
Ms Michelmore joined ASCF in 2018 and has extensive knowledge in all areas of business operations. Initially starting in the investor department, Molly works closely with our CEO Richard Taylor dealing with all aspects of the company’s day-to-day activities.
Ms Michelmore is RG146 qualified and fully compliant with the company’s accounting software. She also liaises directly with our investor and loan software provider integrating our systems to benefit our customers.
David HuiRelationship Executive – Lending
Mr Hui has over 12 years’ experience within the lending and broking industry. In that time he has completed transactions for clients within the mining servicing industry, property developers, the medical industry, along with first home owners and investors.
Mr Hui holds a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management and is a member of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia.
As Relationship Executive – Lending, Mr Hui develops relationships within our loans broker network and provides lending solutions for our direct clients.
Joshua McCabeRelationship Executive – Lending
Mr McCabe has a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance from the University of Queensland, as well as a Masters of Business Administration with a major in Global Business Management from the University of Southern Queensland.
Mr McCabe has over eight years of operations and relationship management experience in the education industry, having worked with hundreds of schools across Queensland and as part of the ASCF Investor Relations team.
As Relationship Executive – Lending, Mr McCabe is RG146 compliant and develops relationships within our loans broker network and provides lending solutions for our direct clients.
Kristyanne KnapmanLoan Operations Manager
Ms Knapman has a Bachelor of Education from Griffith University and brings her extensive experience in customer relations to ASCF as Loan Operations Manager.
She assists In the day-to-day management of the loan portfolio and is responsible for managing the loan extensions and arrears working directly with our CEO.
Ms Knapman also coordinates with compliance and loan processing teams on the ongoing administration of the insurance and valuation requirements of securities in accordance with our compliance plans. She also heads up the special projects team.
Roberto SciaccaSenior Relationship Executive – Investing
Mr Sciacca has a Bachelor of Commerce from Bond University on the Gold Coast with a major in Marketing and a minor in Real Estate and is RG146 compliant having successfully completed the Tier 1 – Generic Knowledge & Securities and Managed Investments (General Advice) subjects from Kaplan. He has also completed subjects in the undergraduate Real Estate Valuation Course and postgraduate Psychology Course from the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane.
Mr Sciacca has worked in the banking industry with the NAB as well as in corporate sales in the communications industry.
As Investor Relations Executive, Mr Sciacca cultivates ASCF’s relationship with its investors and services their requirements.
Davina KnightCompliance Manager
Ms Knight has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Business in Human Resources Management from Central Queensland University, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies from College of Law. Ms Knight is RG146 complaint. Ms Knight was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland as a lawyer in April 2021.
Ms Knight has 6 years of experience working as a Compliance Manager for AFSL and ACL licensees in the financial services industry and has 13 years of experience working in training, recruitment and accounting firms.
Ms Knight reports to and works with the ASCF Compliance Committee and ASCF Credit Committees in order to maintain compliance with Australian Financial Services and Australian Credit Regulations and legislation. Ms Knight is also responsible for creating and reviewing regulatory compliance documentation
including ASCF Policies and staff training. She also coordinates and completes internal audits, and interacts with external auditors on matters related to audits of the organisation’s internal controls.
Kai DraperICT Manager
Mr Draper has over 20 years experience in the ICT industry and has managed ASCF’s ICT requirements since inception. In 2019 Mr Draper joined ASCF full time as ICT & Marketing Manager.
Bringing his extensive skills in house ensures ASCF’s security and ICT needs are maintained to the highest levels.
Mr Draper is also responsible for ASCF’s marketing which includes analysing and reporting on SEO, content creation for Facebook and LinkedIn as well as creating our monthly newsletters.
Stephen CrollRelationship Executive – Investing
Mr Croll started his finance career with Westpac where he worked in commercial lending for 8 years.
After leaving Westpac he worked in Business Development roles with two Mortgage Managers in Brisbane for 8 years, then became a mortgage and finance broker in his own business for 9 years. Stephen also worked as a Business Development Manager for a large Brisbane Accounting firm.
Mr Croll has a passion for all things investments, property and finance. He has an Advanced Management Certificate, Cert IV in Property & Real Estate, Cert IV Finance and Mortgage Broking and a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management.
Mr Croll looks after our first-time investors and is RG146 compliant having successfully completed the Tier 1 – Generic Knowledge & Securities and Managed Investments (General Advice) subjects from Kaplan.
Harrison GaffneyLoan Administration Officer
Mr Gaffney joined ASCF in 2021 with a background in business administration gained through running his own business. He is responsible for the oversight and preparation of ASCF loan documents from inception through to settlement.
Mr Gaffney holds a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking. Mr Gaffney works closely with our Relationship Executives, processing loans from application through to post-settlement. Mr Gaffney is also developing relationships with our mortgage broker network to assist with business development.
Donna RodriguezInvestor Relations Manager
Ms Rodriguez has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Business from Griffith University, majoring in Finance, Economics, Real Estate and Property Development. Ms Rodriguez has completed her Real Estate Licence and is RG146 compliant having successfully completed the Tier 1 – Generic Knowledge & Securities and Managed Investments (General Advice) subjects from Kaplan.
Prior to joining ASCF, Ms Rodriguez worked while studying in the Real Estate Industry as a Senior Property Manager overseeing the relationships between stakeholders.
As Investor Relations Manager, Ms Rodriguez acts as the first point of contact for investors, assisting with their requests, distributing enquiries as required and providing support to the Investor Relations Executives. Her tasks include maintaining the schedule of investor redemptions, term changes, switch funds and transfer of units, writing and maintaining processes for the investor relations team and providing reports to the directors.
Danielle SankeyInvestor Relations Officer
Ms Sankey works as an investor relations officer in the Investment department assisting investors with any queries they may have as well as processing applications and requests, updating investors details and any other investor account changes.
Ms Sankey is also RG146 compliant having successfully completed the Tier 1 – Generic Knowledge & Securities and Managed Investments (General Advice) subjects from Kaplan in 2022.
Alex TaylorLoan Administration Officer
Mr Taylor joined ASCF in 2022 and holds a degree in Behavioural Science from the University of Queensland.
He is responsible for the oversight and preparation of ASCF loan documents from inception through to settlement.
Mr Taylor is RG146 compliant having successfully completed the Tier 1 – Generic Knowledge and Securities and Management Investment subjects. He has also completed several courses from the Bachelor of Business Management course at the University of Queensland.
Cindy WerchonMarketing Coordinator
Ms Werchon is the Marketing Coordinator with ASCF. In this role, she coordinates all day to day execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and sales support with both the investment and lending teams.
Prior to starting with ASCF, Ms Werchon had her own small design studio and worked on various advertising campaigns throughout her career. She has a diploma in Graphic Design and has recently RG146 compliant having successfully completed the Tier 1 – Generic Knowledge subject from Kaplan.
Liz HarvieAccounts Manager
Ms Harvie heads the company’s Accounts Department and is responsible for the processing of the investor and loan transactions for all of the retail funds. Ms Harvie is fully compliant with the company’s accounting software and works closely with our CEO Richard Taylor in all aspects of accounting and loan management.
Prior to joining ASCF, Ms Harvie spent time running the Accounts department at a large property manager in Canberra providing investors with detailed property returns information for their annual Tax Returns.
Sophia LateefAdministration Assistant
Ms Lateef works as a receptionist and an administration assistant to the lending and investment teams. She also provides executive support to the directors.
